EROTIC STATUE
 

A friend sent me a link to this particular photo, which turns out to be a pretty interesting perspective of the Bernini piece "The Rape of Persephone" The full sculpture itself is a bit intense, but whoever took this shot found something highly erotic in that mass of marble.

Inspired, I took a try at something myself, visiting a place called Spirits In Stone ( a gallery of African art in the area ) and taking some photos of one of the statues there.

I don't claim great insight. I only hope I have captured enough to show the primitive beauty of the art.
